The awaited total conversion mod for Fallout: New Vegas will be with us really soon.

Modding is a very important part of every Bethesda made RPG, entire communities born because of it and the immense Fallout: New California is no exception.

Developed by Radian-Helix Media, New California is a huge total conversion mod for Fallout: New Vegas, so big that in fact it can be considered as a totally new Fallout game entry.

This mod took 5 years of development and it is a prequel/prologue to New Vegas set in the California republic of the year 2260, with the Vault 18 of Los Angeles as a starting point. Currently all the assets, main quest and about 16.000 lines of dialogue are ready and, a part of minimal bugs, the game is in fully playable state as reported by the devs themself, yet they will release it to the public in October of this year.

The reason for this release date is that the game currently lacks side quests, so they need time tointroduce them and start a new Closed Beta Test (sign ups starts in July) to be sure the game will be ready for public release.

This is a huge project that will probably made happy all Fallout fans, because the more Fallout the better... I guess at least! Down below you can check the latest trailer, which looks impressive although the New Vegas engine is a bit outdated by today's standards. If you want the real deal you can check the first trailer of the upcoming Fallout 76. Will you download this mod? Let us know with a comment!
